Five Minute Fudge

This is a really unhealthy recipe, but it’s also really fast and really delicious. It’s perfect for when you’re craving some quick Christmas goodies. And—speaking from past experience—it tends to be a big hit at parties. You can add nuts or whatever it is you’re craving (ex. candy cane pieces) without any problems. It’s a family recipe that’s been passed down throughout the ages.

Ingredients:

  • ⅔ cup (small can) evaporated milk
  • 1 ⅔ cup sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cup mini-marshmallows
  • 1 ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:

Mix milk, sugar, and salt in a saucepan. Heat to boiling. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add marshmallows, chocolate chips, vanilla, and nuts. Stir until the marshmallows melt. Pour into a greased 9-inch pan and cool until hard.
