5/12 Days of Christmas Baking

Brynn Lewis, Staff Writer

This recipe…is kind of a random mix of ingredients. I don’t know how it actually ended up in the family, but I’m glad it did. It’s quite simple, yet strangely addictive. And very, very chocolate-y.

  • 1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 pkg. butterscotch chips
  • 2 tsps. butter
  • 3 tbsp. peanut butter
  • 1 cup peanuts
  • ½ cup coconut
  • ½ bag chow mein noodles

Melt the chocolate chips, butter, butterschotch chips, and peanut butter in a saucepan. Take off the heat and stir in peanuts, coconut, and chow mein noodles. Drop in spoonfuls on a plate. Harden and refrigerate.
